Description
Newly ready for campers! Fiddlehead Creek has two RV camping spots and is located 8 miles off of the I-40/I-240 interchange east of Asheville, NC. The attractions of the Asheville area are close by. Downtown Asheville is 12.9 miles away. The campsites are situated on 5.8 acres of wooded property that is also the location of Mountain Mist Nursery, a grower of native azaleas and woodlands. The nursery is open by appointment only, so traffic at the site is minimal.
Local wildlife you might see while camping include deer, wild turkeys, birds, and the occasional bear. Amenities not listed below include:

Other Information
The largest RV we've hosted is a 31-foot trailer towed by a full-sized 4-door pickup truck with 8-foot bed. Log Gap Road is gravel and one lane. We highly recommend arriving in daylight! We are located 800 feet off of Old Fort Rd. We are the first drive on the right after you pass the mailboxes for the road.
