Free Beach Front RV Parks: Surfside Beach Front RV Resort

As its name suggests, Surfside Beach Front RV Resort is the ideal place to enjoy a relaxing beach vacation when exploring RV Parks. Located in Port, Aransas, a charming fishing village on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, the park offers miles of sandy beaches, swimming, surfing, boating, and fishing. Surfside also features two wildlife refuges and a wildlife park, where guests can spot some of the region’s native animals, such as sea turtles.

Campsites at Surfside are equipped with 30 or 50 AMP electric (an adapter is required for 50 AMP), water hookups, and sewer hookups. Many sites include a concrete pad, and all sites include fully-grassed lawns — perfect for a picnic table! Back-in sites are also available and include a free outdoor pet pen. Other amenities at the RV parks include:

.   Free WiFi

.   Cable TV

.   Free picnic table

.   Golf cart and jet ski rentals

.   Kayak, paddleboard, skimboard, bodyboard, beach chair, and umbrella rentals

.   Outdoor “sand showers”

.   24hour coin laundry

.   Full-sized bath house

.   Recreation hall

.   Fish cleaning station

.   Swimming pool

.   24-hour security camera monitoring

The park boasts 18 miles of pristine sandy beach offering endless opportunities for fishing, shelling, beach combing, birding, surf fishing, or simple relaxation. Game enthusiasts will want to check out the outdoor shuffleboard court an horse shoe pit.

Many shops and restaurants in the area are just a short golf-cart or trolley ride away. You can also hop on the motorized trolley provided by the city, which operates seven days a week and provides a unique way to explore the campsite.

Because Surfiside allows short-term rentals only (6 months or less), you won’t see any unsightly permanent decks or fences around the park. The grounds are tidy and well-maintained, and almost all sites offer a view of the beach. Surfside may not have tons of amenities, but what it lacks is easily made up for by its incredible location. With Texas gulf Beach only two blocks away, you won’t miss the state-of-the-art offerings of larger RV resorts. For a quiet, laid-back RV vacation, few parks can top the natural beauty of Surfside Beach Front RV Resort.
